Download the zip, open the app. Gatekeeper may ask once.

Requirements

• macOS 11 Big Sur or newer (recommended)
• About 150 MB free disk space after unzip
• Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3…) or Intel Mac

Install steps

1. Download the zip Use the button above, or open /downloads/Swarmy-macos.zip.
2. Unzip Double-click the zip in Finder. You should get a Swarmy.app (or a folder containing it).
3. Move optional Drag Swarmy.app to Applications if you want, or run it from Downloads.
4. Open the app Right-click (or Control-click) Swarmy.app → Open → confirm Open again. Do this the first time so Gatekeeper allows an unsigned app.
5. If macOS blocks it System Settings → Privacy & Security → scroll to the blocked app message → Open Anyway. Then open the app again.

Troubleshooting

• “App is damaged / can’t be opened”: Often quarantine on the zip. In Terminal: xattr -cr /path/to/Swarmy.app then open again. Or re-download and use right-click → Open.
• App closes immediately: Re-extract the zip fully. Don’t strip resources from the app package.
• Wrong architecture: Grab the latest zip from this page; the export targets modern macOS desktops.
• Permissions: The game does not need special camera/mic access to run.
